Ever wake up and feel this way?
As if something is wrong with you.
Physically ,outwardly everything is fine.
But inside something is not entirely right.
For a few days feeling all too wrong.
Today especially , there is something shaky inside me.
Perhaps my soul.
Being vulnerable — totally unguarded, good thing I am not out in the world today.
Scary to think, going out like that in the world, when you are weak enough to feel that everything will break you down.
When did we learn to build our guards up so high, that without it life seems incomplete.
I wish! I swear these days lazing around is a luxury. Writing a post these days is a luxury. Luxury of time. Got my first job and that seems to be a major part of my day to even have time for anything else. And the little time I get, is to keep me sane enough... Continue Reading →

I can’t get over how awesome this post it. So creative and it is something new.
One day, while my daughter was happily distracted in her own marker drawings, I decided to risk pulling out a new sketchbook I had special ordered. It had dark paper, and was perfect for adding highlights to. I had only drawn a little in it, and was anxious to try it again, but knowing our daughter’s love of art supplies, it meant that if I wasn’t sly enough, I might have to share. (Note: I’m all about kid’s crafts, but when it comes to my own art projects, I don’t like to share.) Since she was engrossed in her own project, I thought I might be able to pull it off.
Ahhh, I should’ve known better. No longer had I drawn my first face (I love drawing from old black & white movie stills) had she swooped over to me with an intense look. “OOOH! Is that a NEW…

Daily Prompt: Person of the Year. You’re asked to nominate someone for TIME’s Person of the Year. Who would it be, and why? My reply: No one . No one. I don't really want to either. All this business of idealizing someone is just disappointing. Maybe it sounds pessimistic but from my experiences ; what you ... Continue Reading →
Daily Prompt: The Satisfaction of a List. Reasons why Zombie's are cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ejga4kJUts They are not vampires or werewolf.. A bloody good reason at that. They can never be corny or cheesy.Or sappy. They are dead(sort of),hence the drama factor is zero. They kick-ass. Ask anyone!

Kudos to this awesomely snarky, cynical and mostly hilarious post. One of the good ones.
There are tons of lists out there on the rest of the internet of “best insults.” Lots of people have said some pretty great one-liners. As they say, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn from time to time. This list is not about one-off comments though; I’m talking about people who consistently came up with amazingly brutal and often funny quips at the expense of others. It’s sort of in ascending order, but I had such a difficult time picking my favorites that I didn’t number them.
“He’s the kind of man who picks his friends – to pieces.”
“She’s the kind of woman who climbed the ladder of success – wrong by wrong.”
“His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork.”
“The finest woman that ever…
