The Season Of Pages

English classics have been on my mind, they have been steadily creaking through, demanding my attention.
Current phase: obsessed about Victorian, old Brit world.

The architecture, the history, places and yes stories like the above. As soon as I done with whatever I am reading, I plan to devour these books.

The mystery, the poise and grace that these books promise, make me want to escape into fiction. The yearning to  escape reality is plenty!

Read any of these books?

  1. Wuthering Heights! I have a love-hate relationship with the book. The impassioned love of Heathcliff but his despicable acts make me scratch my head every time I read it.
This is an old post, so did you get round to reading these?
On that note, have you read ‘Far from the madding crowd’?
